It´s alive

A miracle.  All the rose cuttings I took seemed very, very dead.  But one survived!

Unfortunately, I think it´s the more vigorous, but unscented one.

Someday, when it grows up, it will look like this.

  1. Why not try the potato method? http://www.amateurgardening.com/home/taking-rose-cuttings/

  2. You're not too late to do more cuttings, I think I might have succeeded with clematis and dianthus, I have never done clematis before so I have my fingers crossed.

  3. No potatoes handy at the time - I was lucky to have scissors and a plastic bag :) Shall have to be more prepared. I´ve got my eye on several hydrangeas and a wisteria at abandoned properties in the area. I was forever breaking off clematis stems when we had some.
